The elucidation of the genome sequence might provide a basis for both evolutionary analysis and improvement of the biotechnological usage of the bacterium. Gluconobacter oxydans H24 is used in the industrial production of vitamin C, which is responsible for the bioconversion reaction of D-sorbitol to L-sorbose.

AbstractThe weldability of friction stir welded hot rolled AZ31B-H24 magnesium alloy sheet, 4 mm in thickness, was evaluated, varying welding parameters such as tool rotation speed and travel welding speed.
