R&D tax credits, innovative activity and the targeting approach

open access: yesEconomics and Business Review
The aim of this study is to investigate whether the French R&D tax credit targeted at small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) has a positive impact on innovative activity. The French institutional setting provides a unique research framework as the R&D

Spectroscopic, X‐Ray Crystallographic, and Hirshfeld Surface Analyses for the Investigation of Intermolecular Interactions in Carboxamide Hydrazone Hybrids

open access: yesChemistryOpen, Volume 14, Issue 12, December 2025.
Two novel carboxamide hydrazone hybrids are synthesized and characterized. Structural, spectroscopic, and computational analyses reveal dominant hydrogen bonding, π–π stacking, and reactive sites. Compound 2b exhibits potent antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus, highlighting its potential as a cost‐effective therapeutic agent.

Development of Electrohydraulic Forming Process for Aluminum Sheet with Sharp Edge

open access: yesAdvances in Materials Science and Engineering, 2017
Electrohydraulic forming (EHF), high-velocity forming technology, can improve the formability of a workpiece. Accordingly, this process can help engineers create products with sharper edges, allowing a product’s radius of curvature to be less than 2 mm ...

Structural insights into transition‐metal–aminodiphosphine (PNP) complexes bearing [MCln(PNP)2] (M = Co, Ru, Cr or Mo; n = 1 or 2) cores in the solid state

open access: yesActa Crystallographica Section C, Volume 81, Issue 12, Page 694-701, December 2025.
The molecular structures of two novel cobalt aminodiphosphine (PNP) complexes are reported, featuring variation in the N‐atom substituent. A Cambridge Structural Database (CSD) survey, along with a noncovalent interaction (NCI) analysis of the analogous [TMCln(PNP)2] (where TM = transition metal and n = 1 or 2) core, revealed an inverse correlation ...

Molecular characterization and antibiotic susceptibility of Shiga toxin- producing Escherichia coli (STEC) isolated from raw milk of dairy bovines in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan.

open access: yesPLoS ONE
This study investigated the virulence potential and antibiotic susceptibility analysis of non-O157 Shiga toxin-producing Escherichia coli (STEC) serogroups, which are significant cause of food borne diseases. A study collected 800 samples of dairy bovine

Impact of tool rotational speed on friction stir welded joints of AA2014-T6/AA5052-H32: synthesis, microstructural, mechanical and fractographic behaviour

open access: yesFracture and Structural Integrity
This study examines the changes in microstructure and mechanical properties of friction stir-welded (FSW) dissimilar joints between AA2014-T6 and AA5052-H32 aluminium alloys, with an emphasis on optimizing tool rotation speed for enhanced joint quality.

Non‐equilibrium thermodynamics and kinetics of the sintering process: A relaxation model describing cold sintering

open access: yesJournal of the American Ceramic Society, Volume 108, Issue 12, December 2025.
Abstract Sintering is a complex process that involves a number of competing mechanisms. There are many types of sintering processes. The most recently introduced is cold sintering, which is based largely on a chemo‐mechanical pressure solution mechanism that mainly involves dissolution, transport, and precipitation to drive the densification. Using the

Mass problem in the Standard Model

open access: yes, 2018
We propose a new $\mathrm{SU}(3)_C \otimes \mathrm{SU}(2)_{L}\otimes \mathrm{U}(1)_{Y}\otimes \mathrm{U}(1)_{X}$ gauge model which is non universal respect to the three fermion families of the Standard Model.

Historical Drainage Evolution and Water Level Fluctuations in the African Great Lakes Shaped Phylogeny and Biogeography of Freshwater Gastropods

open access: yesJournal of Biogeography, Volume 52, Issue 12, December 2025.
ABSTRACT Aim The role of historical drainage connectivity and the influence of water level fluctuations in African lakes on the evolution and distribution of macroinvertebrates remain poorly understood. This is partly because evolutionary biology research has largely focused on mobile vertebrates, such as cichlids.
