Simple Non Linear Klein-Gordon Equations in 2 space dimensions, with long range scattering
We establish that solutions, to the most simple NLKG equations in 2 space dimensions with mass resonance, exhibits long range scattering phenomena. Modified wave operators and solutions are constructed for these equations.

Can Tax Competition Lead to a Race to the Bottom in Europe? A Skeptical View [PDF]
This paper addresses the question of the likelihood of a race to the bottom in a monetary union, like the Euro-zone, that could result from tax competition between countries.

Going for growth: overeducation in a tax competition game [PDF]
A model of international tax competition is developed in which taxes are raised in order to finance education which in turn raises income. It is shown that, in contrast to results from the tax competition literature, the outcome of a non-cooperative game

Biological and structural characterizations of mutations in X-linked spondyloepiphyseal dysplasia tarda [PDF]
Spondyloepiphyseal dysplasia tarda (SEDT), an X-linked genetic disease manifesting itself in a disproportionate skeletal structure, is caused by mutations in the SEDL gene.

X-ray inverse Compton emission from the radio halo of M87 [PDF]
M87 has been observed in the 0.2-4 KeV X-ray band using the High Resolution Imager on the Einstein Observatory, and at 1.452 GHz using the Very Large Array. The radio map showed that the halo contained prominent asymmetries to the east and southwest. The

Tip vortices of wings in subsonic and transonic flow: A numerical simulation [PDF]
Thin layer Navier-Stokes and Euler equations are numerically solved using a multi-block zonal approach to simulate the formation and roll up of tip vortices of wings in subsonic and transonic flows.

Welfare, Revenue and Indirect Tax Harmonization under the Origin Principle [PDF]
This paper discusses whether some propositions concerning the effects of indirect tax harmonization that have been derived when taxes are levied on a destination basis and revenue is returned to the individuals as a lump-sum transfer can, when accurately

Non-binding minimum taxes may foster tax competition [PDF]
In a Stackelberg framework of capital income taxation it is shown that imposing a minimum tax rate that is lower than all countries' equilibrium tax rates in the non-cooperative equilibrium may reduce equilibrium tax rates in all countries.
