We describe the formalization of the existence and uniqueness of the Haar measure in the Lean theorem prover. The Haar measure is an invariant regular measure on locally compact groups, and it has not been formalized in a proof assistant before.

Representing Probability Measures using Probabilistic Processes [PDF]
In the Type-2 Theory of Effectivity, one considers representations of topological spaces in which infinite words are used as "names" for the elements they represent.

On uniform local dispersion on a family of G-orbits [PDF]
Trockel W. On uniform local dispersion on a family of G-orbits. Journal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications. 1986;118(1):173-179.Consider a topological space T which is the union of a family of G-orbits, where G is a locally euclidean group G ...

Haar measure for measure groupoids
It is proved that Mackey’s measure groupoids possess an analogue of Haar measure for locally compact groups; and many properties of the group Haar measure generalize. Existence of Haar measure for groupoids permits solution of a question raised by Ramsay.

A complete theory of the Clifford commutant [PDF]
The Clifford group plays a central role in quantum information science. It is the building block for many error-correcting schemes and matches the first three moments of the Haar measure over the unitary group-a property that is essential for a broad ...
