Nitric oxide generation from nitrate at the cobalt center
Deoxygenation of a cobalt(II) nitrate complex with CO(g) or PPh3 yields a Co(NO)(NO2) species, which can alternatively be generated from a cobalt mononitrosyl complex, featuring a distinct {CoNO}8 core.
