ExMODE: A comprehensive resource for extremophile genomic and functional exploration
ExMODE (https://db.genomics.cn/exmode/) integrates 3518 samples to build a unified extremophile resource, which hosts 1.35 billion habitat‐specific non‐redundant genes, 5.25 million representative protein structures, 67,026 metagenome‐assembled genomes (MAGs), and 164,132 biosynthetic gene clusters (BGCs). By combining sequence‐, structure‐, and genome‐

Nanoplastics: Methods, Exposure and Effects on Domestic, Farm and Wild Animals
ABSTRACT Nanoplastics (NPs) are synthetic polymer particles ranging in size from 1 nm to 1 μm that have been identified as a major concern for ecosystems and organisms due to their plethora of negative effects. The aim of this review is to provide a comprehensive overview of the knowledge relating to exposure and effects of NPs in domestic (i.e., farm ...

ABSTRACT Lambda‐cyhalothrin is a synthetic pyrethroid insecticide widely used in agriculture, but its potential to contaminate aquatic ecosystems and exert high toxicity on fish at low concentrations raises ecotoxicological concerns. While standard histopathological and biochemical assessments are common, the novel integration of pigment‐based ...

Perls–TEM–STEM‐HAADF–EDS enables high‐resolution localization and elemental characterization of Fe‐containing deposits in Rhizophora mangle leaf cells. ABSTRACT Mangrove ecosystems are frequently exposed to high concentrations of iron (Fe) in sediments, resulting in Fe accumulation in plant tissues. Although Fe is an essential micronutrient involved in

Adaptive Immunity in Marsupials
Comparison of the marsupial and eutherian adaptive immune systems. ABSTRACT Marsupials diverged from eutherian mammals 125–160 million years ago. Although evolutionarily distinct, both groups of mammals can produce complex adaptive immune responses to antigens with several key differences.
