A generalized Walsh system for arbitrary matrices

open access: yesDemonstratio Mathematica, 2019
In this paper we study in detail a variation of the orthonormal bases (ONB) of L2[0, 1] introduced in [Dutkay D. E., Picioroaga G., Song M. S., Orthonormal bases generated by Cuntz algebras, J. Math. Anal.

Unveil Fundamental Graph Properties for Neural Architecture Search

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This paper proposes NASGraph, a graph‐based framework that represents neural architectures as graphs whose structural properties determine performance. By revealing structure–performance relationships, NASGraph enables efficient neural architecture search with significantly reduced computation.

Legendre pairs of lengths ℓ ≡ 0 (mod 5)

open access: yesSpecial Matrices, 2023
By assuming a type of balance for length ℓ=87\ell =87 and nontrivial subgroups of multiplier groups of Legendre pairs (LPs) for length ℓ=85\ell =85, we find LPs of these lengths. We then study the power spectral density (PSD) values of mm compressions of

Searching for partial Hadamard matrices [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Three algorithms looking for pretty large partial Hadamard ma- trices are described. Here “large” means that hopefully about a third of a Hadamard matrix (which is the best asymptotic result known so far, [8]) is achieved.

Almost Hadamard matrices: the case of arbitrary exponents

open access: yes, 2012
In our previous work, we introduced the following relaxation of the Hadamard property: a square matrix $H\in M_N(\mathbb R)$ is called "almost Hadamard" if $U=H/\sqrt{N}$ is orthogonal, and locally maximizes the 1-norm on O(N).

Neural Fields for Highly Accelerated 2D Cine Phase Contrast MRI

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT 2D cine phase contrast (CPC) MRI provides quantitative information on blood velocity and flow within the human vasculature. However, data acquisition is time‐consuming, motivating the reconstruction of the velocity field from undersampled measurements to reduce scan times. In this work, neural fields are proposed as a continuous spatiotemporal

Generation of strongly regular graphs from quaternary complex Hadamard matrices

open access: yesCeylon Journal of Science, 2018
A strongly regular graph with parameters (v, k, μ, λ) is a regular graph G with v vertices and k degree in which every two adjacent vertices have λ common neighbors and every two non-adjacent vertices have μ common neighbors. In this paper, we propose an

Polychromatic speckle reduction in laser pico-projectors using stationary dual Hadamard diffusers [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of the European Optical Society-Rapid Publications, 2014
Speckle from coherent light sources continues to be a limiting factor in the design and manufacturing of laser projectors. Utilizing diffractive diffusers has been an effective method for reducing monochromatic speckle contrast.

Systems of mutually unbiased Hadamard matrices containing real and complex matrices [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
We use combinatorial and Fourier analytic arguments to prove various non-existence results on systems of real and com- plex unbiased Hadamard matrices.

Matrix vitrages and regular Hadamard matrices

open access: yesInformation and Control Systems, 2021
Introduction: The Kronecker product of Hadamard matrices when a matrix of order n replaces each element in another matrix of order m, inheriting the sign of the replaced element, is a basis for obtaining orthogonal matrices of order nm. The matrix insertion operation when not only signs but also structural elements (ornamental patterns of matrix ...
