Employing spin symmetry to disentangle different models for the XYZ states [PDF]
In order to test different models proposed for some states discovered recently in the charmonium mass range that do not fit into the pattern predicted by the conventional quark model, we derive predictions for the spectrum within the hadro-charmonium ...

From cosmic matter to the laboratory
Abstract The recent discovery of binary neutron star mergers has opened a new and exciting venue of research into hot and dense strongly interacting matter. For the first time, this elusive state of matter, described by the theory of quantum chromo dynamics, can be studied in two very different environments.

Light hadron spectroscopy [PDF]
Recent developments in calculations of the light hadron spectrum are reviewed. Particular emphasis is placed on discussion of to what extent the quenched spectrum agrees with experiment. Recent progress, both for quenched and full QCD, in reducing scaling violation with the use of improved actions is presented.

Beyond the Adiabatic Approximation: the impact of thresholds on the hadronic spectrum [PDF]
In the adiabatic approximation, most of the effects of quark-antiquark loops on spectroscopy can be absorbed into a static interquark potential. I develop a formalism which can be used to treat the residual nonadiabatic effects associated with the ...

Quark Forces from Hadronic Spectroscopy [PDF]
We consider the implications of the most general two-body quark-quark interaction Hamiltonian for the spin-flavor structure of the negative parity L=1 excited baryons. Assuming the most general two-body quark interaction Hamiltonian, we derive two correlations among the masses and mixing angles of these states, which constrain the mixing angles, and ...
