A Brief, Biased View of Neutron Star Cooling
ABSTRACT This is a concise and non‐technical review of topics related to neutron star (NS) cooling, for both young NSs and NSs in low‐mass x‐ray binaries. Neutrino emission from the NS core drives cooling rates, via different processes including Urca processes and pair breaking and formation at the neutron superfluid critical temperature.

Electroweak three-body decays in the presence of two- and three-body bound states
Recently, formalism has been derived for studying electroweak transition amplitudes for three-body systems both in infinite and finite volumes. The formalism provides exact relations that the infinite-volume amplitudes must satisfy, as well as a ...

Abstract Background A Faraday cup (FC) facilitates a quite clean measurement of the proton fluence emerging from clinical spot‐scanning nozzles with narrow pencil‐beams. The utilization of FCs appears to be an attractive option for high dose rate delivery modes and the source models of Monte‐Carlo (MC) dose engines.

SPECULATIONS IN HADRON SPECTROSCOPY [PDF]
A selected survey is presented of the recent progress in hadron spectroscopy. This includes spin-singlet charmonium states, excitations of charmonium and open-charm mesons, double-charm baryons, and pentaquark candidates. Models proposing exotic bound states or resonances are reviewed.

f [N pi N]: from quarks to the pion derivative coupling
We study the N pi N coupling, in the framework of a QCD-inspired confining Nambu-Jona-Lasinio model. A simple relativistic confining and instantaneous quark model is reviewed. The Salpeter equation for the nucleon and the boosted pion is solved. The f [n

Dissociation of J/ψ and Y Using Dissociation Energy Criteria in N‐Dimensional Space
The analytical exact iteration method (AEIM) has been widely used to calculate N‐dimensional radial Schrodinger equation with medium‐modified form of Cornell potential and is generalized to the finite value of magnetic field (eB) with quasiparticle approach in hot quantum chromodynamics (QCD) medium.

Proposal for taking data with the KLOE-2 detector at the DA$\Phi$NE collider upgraded in energy [PDF]
This document reviews the physics program of the KLOE-2 detector at DA$\Phi$NE upgraded in energy and provides a simple solution to run the collider above the $\phi$-peak (up to 2, possibly 2.5 GeV).

Incorporating DDπ effects and left-hand cuts in lattice QCD studies of the Tcc(3875)+
We generalize the relativistic field-theoretic three-particle finite-volume scattering formalism to describe generic DDπ systems in the charm C = 2 sector.
