Measurement of strange baryon production in charged-particle jets in pp and p-Pb collisions with ALICE [PDF]

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences
The enhancement of the ratio of strange to non-strange hadrons with increasing charged-particle multiplicity density is often interpreted as a signature of the medium formed in heavy-ion collisions.

Time Reversal Odd Fragmentation Functions in Semi-Inclusive Scattering of Polarized Leptons from Unpolarized Hadrons [PDF]

open access: yesPhys.Lett. B338 (1994) 357-362, 1994
Semi-inclusive deep inelastic scattering of polarized leptons off hadrons enables one to measure the antisymmetric part of the hadron tensor. For unpolarized hadrons this piece is odd under time reversal. In deep inelastic scattering it shows up as a $\langle \sin \phi \rangle$ asymmetry for the produced hadrons.

Equation-of-motion and Lorentz-invariance relations for tensor-polarized parton distribution functions of spin-1 hadrons

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2022
Structure functions of polarized spin-1 hadrons will be measured at various accelerator facilities in the near future. Recently, transverse-momentum-dependent and collinear parton distribution functions were theoretically proposed at twist 3 and twist 4 ...

Heavy hadron spectroscopy: a quark model perspective [PDF]

open access: yesInt. J. Mod. Phys. E Vol. 22 (2013) 1330011, 2012
We present recent results of hadron spectroscopy and hadron-hadron interaction from the perspective of constituent quark models. We pay special attention to the role played by higher order Fock space components in the hadron spectra and the connection of this extension with the hadron-hadron interaction.

An Experimental Review on Elliptic Flow of Strange and Multistrange Hadrons in Relativistic Heavy Ion Collisions

open access: yesAdvances in High Energy Physics, 2016
Strange hadrons, especially multistrange hadrons, are good probes for the early partonic stage of heavy ion collisions due to their small hadronic cross sections.

High energy QCD: multiplicity dependence of quarkonia production

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2021
In this paper we propose an approach which demonstrates the dependence of quarkonia production on the multiplicity of the accompanying hadrons. Our approach is based on the three gluon fusion mechanism, without assuming the multiplicity dependence of the

Collisional Broadening within a Hadronic Transport Approach

open access: yesUniverse, 2023
We explore the emergence of the collisional broadening of hadrons under the influence of different media using the hadronic transport approach SMASH (Simulating Many Accelerated Strongly interacting Hadrons), which employs vacuum properties and contains ...

Quark number scaling of hadronic pT spectra and constituent quark degree of freedom in p–Pb collisions at sNN=5.02 TeV

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2017
We show that the experimental data of transverse momentum (pT) spectra of identified hadrons released recently by ALICE collaboration for p–Pb collisions at sNN=5.02 TeV exhibit a distinct universal behavior — the quark number scaling.

Proton electromagnetic generalized polarizabilities

open access: yesFrontiers in Physics
Electromagnetic polarizabilities are fundamental properties of the proton that characterize its response to an external electromagnetic (EM) field. The generalization of the EM polarizabilities to non-zero four-momentum transfer opens up a powerful path ...

Detector-size upper bounds on dark hadron lifetime from cosmology

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2019
We show that in a confining hidden valley model where the lightest hidden particles are dark hadrons that have mass splittings larger than O 0.1 $$ \mathcal{O}(0.1) $$ GeV, if the lightest dark hadron is either stable or decays into Standard Model (SM ...
