The Hahn-Banach Theorem

2009
The Hahn-Banach Theorem (H.B.T.) is called one of the three basic principles of linear analysis—the two others are the Uniform Boundedness Principle and the Open Mapping Theorem. We will study them in the next three lectures. The H.B.T. has several versions and several corollaries.

On the Constructive Hahn-Banach Theorem

Bulletin of the London Mathematical Society, 1989
We prove that if we confine ourselves to some classes of normed linear spaces, then the exact existence of the extensions of a linear functional is constructively provable.

ON THE HAHN-BANACH THEOREM

Advanced Courses of Mathematical Analysis II, 2007
I love the Hahn-Banach theorem. I love it the way I love Casablanca and the Fontana di Trevi. It is something not so much to be read as fondled. What is “the Hahn-Banach theorem?” Let f be a continuous linear functional defined on a subspace M of a normed space X.

On the Hahn–Banach theorem

Resonance, 2017
The Hahn–Banach theorem is one of the major theorems proved in any first course on functional analysis. It has plenty of applications, not only within the subject itself, but also in other areas of mathematics like optimization, partial differential equations, and so on.

A Fuzzy Hahn-Banach Theorem

2007
A fuzzy version of the Hahn-Banach theorem is proved based on the classical result. A comparison is also drawn with an earlier published result in this connection.
