Severe-hail detection with C-band dual-polarisation radars using convolutional neural networks [PDF]
Radar has consistently been proven to be the most reliable source of information for the remote detection of hail within storms in real time. Currently, existing hail detection techniques have limited ability to clearly distinguish storms that produce ...

In‐situ doping during growth of SnSe and subsequent attachment of SnS produces high‐quality lateral pn‐heterojunctions between van der Waals semiconductors. Electron beam induced current measurements demonstrate electrically active pn‐junctions, paving the way for devices that harness charge separation at lateral interfaces in layered heterostructures.

Experimental study on the influence of turbulence on hail impacts
Hailstorms, characterized by their intensity, are often accompanied by strong winds and heavy rain, posing significant destructive potential. Data indicate that the economic losses caused by hail to buildings, particularly solar panels, have been ...

Study of 11 September 2004 hailstorm event using radar identification of 2-D systems and 3-D cells [PDF]
The most important hail event recorded in the region of the Ebro Valley (NE Spain) in 2004 was the 11 September episode. Large hailstones (some of them with a diameter of over 30 mm) caused important damages in agriculture and properties.

Covalent organic frameworks (COFs) with metals have been recognized as versatile platforms for photocatalytic CO2 reduction (CO2PRR). Herein, an overview of metal integration strategies for COFs is systematically summarized. Regulatory mechanisms and structure–activity relationships between metal integration and COF‐based CO2PRR are emphasized.
