Wearable Bioelectronics for Home‐Based Monitoring and Treatment of Muscle Atrophy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
As an inevitable disease, muscle atrophy has received more attention. Because the factors that induce this disease are diverse, achieving a complete cure is still impossible. Wearable bioelectronics provides a more comfortable, low‐cost, and efficient way of home care for the monitoring and treatment of muscle atrophy. Therefore, this review summarizes

Bio‐Inspired Strategy for Radiation‐Based Thermal Management and Utilization

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Biological organisms have evolved remarkable strategies to manage and exploit thermal radiation. This review explores bio‐inspired systems that mimic these adaptations—such as radiative cooling, thermal regulation, thermal insulation, water harvesting, infrared camouflage, and infrared detection—and highlights their application in thermal management ...

Deciphering Cell Type Abundance in Proteomics Data Through Graph Neural Networks

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
GraphDEC constructs pseudo bulk reference data using a mixup strategy, then learns low dimensional representations via autoencoders to model intra and inter dataset relationships. These are processed through a multi view adaptive neighborhood aware GNN, integrating reference, target, and joint graphs.

Cellular Adaptation to Mechanical Stress Emerges via Cell Shrinkage Triggered by Nonlinear Calcium Elevation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Here, a decision‐making mechanism underlying mechanical adaptation is demonstrated. This study demonstrates that cellular adaptation to mechanical stress can be induced by applying low‐amplitude stretch to cells. When the stretch reaches a critical amplitude threshold, it triggers Ca2⁺‐dependent positive feedback, which induces cholesterol efflux and ...

Mucociliary Clearance Inspired Nanozyme‐centric Hydrogel Composites for Integrated Bacterial Detection

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Inspired by human pulmonary cilia and their mucus defend against bacteria, nanozyme‐centric hydrogel networks have been assembled into nanowires, combining the rapid penetration capability of the nanowire arrays with the adhesion and detection functions of the nanozyme‐centric hydrogel networks.
