Quantum gates using electronic and nuclear spins of Yb$^{+}$ in a magnetic field gradient
An efficient scheme is proposed to carry out gate operations on an array of trapped Yb$^+$ ions, based on a previous proposal using both electronic and nuclear degrees of freedom in a magnetic field gradient. For this purpose we consider the Paschen-Back

A subdomain analytical model for multi‐harmonic air‐gap subdomains is proposed to predict motor magnetic fields containing complex harmonic components. Theoretical analysis demonstrates that this model effectively reduces the matrix dimension during analytical computation, resulting in lower computational time costs for the same harmonic order while ...

Magnetic Microfluidic Linear Halbach Array Configuration for Cell Separation [PDF]
The different type of blood entities like red blood cells (RBCs), white blood cell (WBCs) and platelets counts is a critical point in routine medical tests. Circulating tumor cells (CTCs) counting and analysing in the blood is indicative of the stage and origin of cancer in particular time.

Design and Development of a Magnetic Lead Screw With a Quasi‐Halbach Array
This paper reports on a study of a novel MLS with a quasi‐Halbach array and a rotor made of a SMC. The proposed topology has an array formed from a helix of discretized pieces of PMs axially and radially magnetized in its slider. Using FEA and static magnetic simulations, prototypes were assessed.
