Diffusion approximations and domain decomposition method of linear transport equations: asymptotics and numerics [PDF]
In this paper we construct numerical schemes to approximate linear transport equations with slab geometry by diffusion equations. We treat both the case of pure diffusive scaling and the case where kinetic and diffusive scalings coexist.

Linear Differential Equations for a Fractional Spin Field
The vector system of linear differential equations for a field with arbitrary fractional spin is proposed using infinite-dimensional half-bounded unitary representations of the $\overline{SL(2,R)}$ group.

Properties of higher-order half-linear functional differential equations with noncanonical operators [PDF]
Some new results are presented for the oscillatory and asymptotic behavior of higher-order half-linear differential equations with a noncanonical operator. We study the delayed and advanced equations subject to various conditions.

Psychosocial Outcomes in Patients With Endocrine Tumor Syndromes: A Systematic Review
ABSTRACT Introduction The combination of disease manifestations, the familial burden, and varying penetrance of endocrine tumor syndromes (ETSs) is unique. This review aimed to portray and summarize available data on psychosocial outcomes in patients with ETSs and explore gaps and opportunities for future research and care.

Cumulants, free cumulants and half-shuffles
Free cumulants were introduced as the proper analog of classical cumulants in the theory of free probability. There is a mix of similarities and differences, when one considers the two families of cumulants.

ABSTRACT Purpose Metabolic syndrome (MetS) is a common complication in survivors of childhood acute lymphoblastic and myeloid leukemia (AL), and a major risk factor for premature cardiovascular disease, type‐2‐diabetes, and metabolic dysfunction‐associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD).

An extension of Milloux's theorem to half-linear differential equations
A theorem of Milloux (1934) concerning the Sturm-Liouville differential equations is extended to the so-called half-linear differential equations.

Progress in classically solving ten dimensional supersymmetric reduced Yang-Mills theories
It is shown that there exists an on-shell light cone gauge where half of the fermionic components of the super vector potential vanish, so that part of the superspace flatness conditions becomes linear.

Strong convergence rates for backward Euler–Maruyama method for non-linear dissipative-type stochastic differential equations with super-linear diffusion coefficients [PDF]
In this work, we generalize the current theory of strong convergence rates for the backward Euler–Maruyama scheme for highly non-linear stochastic differential equations, which appear in both mathematical finance and bio-mathematics.
