Modulating Growth Kinetics and Defect Passivation in Ambient‐Air Evaporation‐Spray Deposition Enables Efficient and Stable Rigid/Flexible Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesEcoEnergy, EarlyView.
ATC‐enabled synergistic crystalline regulation and defect passivation via evaporation‐spray deposition realizes 22.68% rigid and 20.13% flexible PSCs with remarkable stability and excellent universality for both rigid and flexible substrates. ABSTRACT Evaporation‐spray technique renders perovskites highly compatible with large‐scale manufacturing ...

Modulating Perovskite Crystallization via Multisite Bonding for Enhanced Solar Cell Performance

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
This study proposes an innovative multisite bonding strategy to regulate crystallization. By employing bidentate ligands N,N‐diethyl‐1,2‐ethanediamine dihydrochloride (DED) that coordinate with uncoordinated Pb2+ and I− vacancies, while simultaneously forming hydrogen bonds with FA+ ions, this synergistic interaction prolongs the perovskite ...

Co‐Firing Slow Solidification Process for Growing Indium‐Doped Cs3Cu2I5 Single Crystals With Record‐Breaking X‐Ray Detection Performance

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
A novel brand‐new co‐firing slow solidification process has been used to prepare Cs3Cu2I5: In single crystals (SCs), which demonstrate record‐breaking X‐ray detection performance. The regular‐shaped Cs3Cu2I5: In wafer obtains a high light yield (74 368 Ph MeV−1), which is the highest related to indium‐doped Cu‐based perovskites.

Cooling Bromine‐Contained Photovoltaic Perovskites: The Impact of Phase Segregation and Lattice Expansion

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
An optimal bromine content stabilizes the perovskite lattice during extreme temperature cycling by suppressing vacancies and regulating crystal growth, enhances open‐circuit voltage of the device by enhancing defect relaxation via lattice expansion.
