Phylogenomic Insights into the Phylogeography of Halophila baillonii Asch.
A molecular genetic approach was used to elucidate the phylogeographic relationships of the clover grass (Halophila baillonii Asch.) from three key regions within its current distributional range.

Climate Change Enhances the Success of Marine Invasive Species
Climate change is associated with increased marine invasion success, especially over longer time scales. Short‐term experiments showed variable and non‐significant responses, whereas medium‐term observational studies and long‐term models showed significant positive effects.

Halophila Balfourii Solereder (Hydrocharitaceae)—An Overlooked Seagrass Species
Halophila balfourii Solereder has long been treated as a synonym of Halophila stipulacea (Forrsk.) Asch., although it was named more than a century ago. Microscopic (optical microscope and scanning electron microscope) studies on all available herbarium ...

Environmental influence on intraspecific trait variation in the tropical seagrass Halodule uninervis
Intraspecific trait variation (ITV) enhances the precision of applying functional trait approaches in plant ecology. Despite its benefits, ITV is rarely considered in functional trait‐based seagrass research. The goal of our research is to measure ITV in the tropical seagrass species Halodule uninervis and assess the environmental factors associated ...

Carbon Stored on Seagrass Beds in Gili Maringkik, Lombok, Indonesia
Seagrass beds are an important vegetation for reducing the impact of global warming besides the function of forest and mangroves vegetation. The research aims to find the composition of seagrass species, density, seagrass coverage, seagrass standing ...

Abstract Nicotiana sect. Suaveolentes is a group that has undergone recent and rapid radiation, a clade that originated ca. six million years ago and has since rapidly speciated throughout Australia, with a few taxa on Pacific Islands and one in Namibia (Africa). Post‐tetraploidisation, species in N. sect.

ABSTRACT Biofouling on artificial surfaces in aquatic ecosystems leads to significant economic losses. Current antifouling paints, while effective, often harm the aquatic environment. This study explores ecologically safe antifouling alternatives derived from plants, focusing on the aquatic macrophytes Cabomba caroliniana (CC) and Schoenoplectus ...
