Different Types of Traumatic Exposure Link Divergently to PTSD and CPTSD

open access: yesStress and Health, Volume 42, Issue 1, February 2026.
ABSTRACT This study aimed to profile at‐risk individuals in the aftermath of exposure to war‐related traumatic events. We examined the contribution of distal and proximal as well as direct and indirect traumatic exposure, including disturbing social media content, to posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and complex PTSD (CPTSD) among Israeli citizens ...

Cup Deep Drawing Simulation of Commercially Pure Titanium for Varying‐Shoulder‐Radius Die Using Finite Element Method and Non‐associated Flow Rule

open access: yessteel research international, Volume 97, Issue 2, Page 827-837, February 2026.
Finite element simulations of deep drawing of commercially pure titanium sheets using single‐radius and varying‐shoulder‐radius dies are conducted. Two types of nonassociated flow rules are applied, and the results are verified by comparing them with the experimental results.

Strength α‐Quartz: New Results From High Pressure In Situ X‐Ray Diffraction Experiments

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Solid Earth, Volume 131, Issue 2, February 2026.
Abstract We present a suite of 13 uniaxial deformation experiments on fine grained polycrystalline α‐quartz conducted in a D‐DIA apparatus monitored with in situ synchrotron x‐rays. Experimental temperatures range from 25°C to 1199°C with pressures between 1.4 and 3.2 GPa, and strain rates between 3.4 × 10−6 s−1 and 1.8 × 10−5 s−1.

Anomalously Low New Production in the Northeast Atlantic During Spring 2024: A Consequence of Weaker Winter Mixing?

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Oceans, Volume 131, Issue 2, February 2026.
Abstract In 2024 an anomalous region of low chlorophyll water covering ∼721,000 km2 or 1.7% of North Atlantic surface area dominated the Northeast Atlantic. This feature formed during spring, remained identifiable as a region of low chlorophyll throughout the summer months in temperate and subpolar waters and, due to low opal ballasting potential of ...

Epidemiology of Maxillofacial Injuries in the Swords of Iron War: Insights From a National Registry

open access: yesDental Traumatology, Volume 42, Issue 1, Page 71-78, February 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Maxillofacial injuries (MFI) in warfare present significant challenges due to the concentration of vital structures in the facial region and the high‐energy mechanisms of injury. This study analyzes the epidemiology, severity, and outcomes of MFI during the Swords of Iron conflict using data from the Israeli National Trauma Registry.
