SPRACHLICHE UND KULTURELLE INTEGRATION VON FLÜCHTLINGEN – NEUE HERAUSFORDERUNGEN FÜR DIE ERWACHSENENBILDUNG IN EUROPA DES XXI. JAHRHUNDERTS / LINGUISTIC AND CULTURAL INTEGRATION OF REFUGEES – NEW CHALLENGES FOR ADULT EDUCATION IN XXIST CENTURY EUROPE [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Languages for Specific Purposes, 2017
Following study deals with the chances of integrating immigrants into European culture. Therefore several aspects are to be analysed like: is there any linguistic and above all cultural integration possible at all, which are the factors potentially ...

Generation of Self‐Organizing Macrovascular Constructs by Bioprinting Human iPSC‐Derived Mesodermal Progenitor Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Vascularization remains a major obstacle in tissue engineering. Here, we introduce a bioprinting strategy to generate centimeter‐scale, self‐organizing “mother vessel” constructs from iPSC‐derived hiMPCs. By optimizing bioink composition, printing was accomplished in a single‐step approach. Within one week, hiMPCs differentiated into both CD31+

Strain Tuning the Occupation of Candidate Topological Weyl States in W‐Doped MoTe2

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The present study investigates strain‐induced modifications of the electronic structure in the Weyl semimetal Td${\rm T}_d$‐Mo0.91W0.09Te2${\mathrm{Mo}}_{0.91}{\mathrm{W}}_{0.09}{\mathrm{Te}}_{2}$ using hard X‐ray angle‐resolved photoemission spectroscopy.

A Non‐Covalent [4Fe–4S]/[2Fe] Interface in HydF Guides [FeFe]‐Hydrogenase Maturation

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
Bridged or not? 57Fe NRVS reveals a non‐covalent, electronically coupled interaction between the HydF [4Fe–4S] cluster and the [2Fe] precursor. Boltz‐2 structure predictions suggest that the cubane organizes lipoate‐dependent Hmet chemistry, positioning intermediates for assembly of the CH2–NH–CH2 bridge during H‐cluster biosynthesis.

Programmable Multi‐Axially Aligned Aerogels via Sequential Freeze‐Casting for Tailored Anisotropy and Tunable Mechanics

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Conventional single‐gradient freeze‐casting typically produces unidirectional porous architectures with limited transverse connectivity. The Sequential Hybridization by Infiltration and Freeze‐casting Technique (SHIFT) addresses this constraint by integrating secondary aligned structures within a preformed primary scaffold.

Non‐Destructive, Reference‐Free Quantitative Analysis of TaOx Memristive Devices Using Soft X‐Ray Radiation

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
A non‐destructive, quantitative approach has been developed to explore the nanoscale dynamics of TaOx‐based memristive devices. The utilization of nano‐X‐ray fluorescence analysis enables the direct probing of spatially resolved elemental distributions, including those present in buried layers, that are critical for the resistive switching.
