A simple, rapid, and portable gold‐coated filter tip‐based assay (GFTA) is developed for bacterial detection. The GFTA leverages cleavable functional nucleic acid probes as molecular recognition elements to target RNase H2, a highly conserved bacterial endoribonuclease, enabling sensitive and specific colorimetric detection of bacterial pathogens ...

The Maxwell–Vlasov equations in Euler–Poincaré form [PDF]
Low's well-known action principle for the Maxwell–Vlasov equations of ideal plasma dynamics was originally expressed in terms of a mixture of Eulerian and Lagrangian variables.

This paper proposes a novel control framework to ensure safety of a robotic swarm. A feedback optimization controller is capable of driving the swarm toward a target density while keeping risk‐zone exposure below a safety threshold. Theory and experiments show how safety is more effectively achieved for sparsely connected swarms.

The Poisson bracket and Hamilton's equations of motion
In mathematics and classical mechanics, the Poisson bracket is a fundamental binary operation in Hamiltonian mechanics, serving as a key component in Hamilton’s equations of motion.

ABSTRACT Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a well‐established, evidence‐based treatment for common mental disorders such as depression, anxiety disorders, and obsessive‐compulsive disorder (OCD). However, treatment outcomes vary widely, and a substantial proportion of patients do not achieve sufficient improvement.

ABSTRACT This study aims to prospectively collect harmonized, quantitative, and dimensional psychiatric phenotypes (suicidality, anhedonia, and obsessive‐compulsive symptoms) and information on discrimination, stigma, and unfair treatment in up to 27,500 individuals across diverse ancestries and clinical populations for genetic analysis within the NIMH

Nonlinear equations of motion for the elastic bending and torsion of twisted nonuniform rotor blades
The equations of motion are developed by two complementary methods, Hamilton's principle and the Newtonian method. The resulting equations are valid to second order for long, straight, slender, homogeneous, isotropic beams undergoing moderate ...

ABSTRACT Culturally responsive early childhood education (ECE) environments can increase child and family participation, enhance service quality, and improve developmental outcomes for children. Educators from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds contribute to inclusive ECE and are crucial for addressing workforce shortages.
