MG53 Coordinates Macrophage Polarization and Neuroimmune Coupling to Promote Corneal Nerve Regeneration via the MPEG1–MVP–STAT6 Axis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Corneal nerve regeneration is critical to corneal wound healing processes. The current study reveals a novel role of MG53 in promoting corneal nerve regeneration after alkali induced injury. Mechanistically, MG53 enters macrophages via its receptor, MPEG1, promotes MVP K63 ubiquitination, and triggers STAT6 induced repair‐related genes expression ...

Endometrial Epithelial Lactate Deficiency Drives CD8+ T‐Cells Dysregulation in Unexplained Recurrent Implantation Failure

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Unexplained recurrent implantation failure (RIF) represents a significant clinical challenge. Our results demonstrate that reduced lactate production in the RIF endometrium impairs the suppression of cytotoxic CD8+ T‑cells, allowing their proliferation and thereby disrupting the local immune balance essential for successful embryo implantation.

MetalCenter‐Dependent Selectivity Divergence in MN4 Single‐Atom Catalysts for Aerobic HMF Oxidation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Two single‐atom catalysts with M‐N4 configurations (FeN4 and CoN4) were developed for selective HMF oxidation. FeN4 achieves 93.9% selectivity toward FFCA via superoxide anions (O2•−), while CoN4 preferentially produces FDCA through hydroxyl radicals (•OH). DFT calculations reveal that distinct adsorption energies and charge redistribution at the metal

The Algebra of Assortativity and the Evolution of Cooperation [PDF]

open access: yes
This paper presents an evolutionary game theoretic analysis of the dynamics of a population of prisoners' dilemma players where the probability of encountering an cooperator is higher for cooperators than for noncooperators.

Customizing Tactile Sensors via Machine Learning‐Driven Inverse Design

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Replicating the sophisticated sense of touch in artificial systems requires tactile sensors with precisely tailored properties. However, manually navigating the complex microstructure‐property relationship results in inefficient and suboptimal designs.

Analytical Mechanics of Chemical Reactions. V. Application to the Linear Reactive H +H_2 Systems [PDF]

open access: yes, 1970
Natural collision coordinates and a zeroth‐order vibrational–adiabatic approximation are used to treat linear reactive collisions. Nonadiabatic effects on barrier transmission and on vibrational state of products are calculated.
