Implicit Hammer: Cross-Privilege-Boundary Rowhammer Through Implicit Accesses

IEEE Transactions on Dependable and Secure Computing, 2023
Rowhammer is a hardware vulnerability in DRAM memory, where repeated access to hammer rows can induce bit flips in neighboring victim rows. Rowhammer attacks have enabled privilege escalation, sandbox escape, cryptographic key disclosures, etc.

Graphene: Strong yet Lightweight Row Hammer Protection

Micro, 2020
Row Hammer is a serious security threat to modern computing systems using DRAM as main memory. It causes charge loss in DRAM cells adjacent to a frequently activated aggressor row and eventually leads to data bit flips in those cells.

Hammer: Robust Function-Calling for On-Device Language Models via Function Masking

arXiv.org
Large language models have demonstrated impressive value in performing as autonomous agents when equipped with external tools and API calls. Nonetheless, effectively harnessing their potential for executing complex tasks crucially relies on enhancements ...

Hypothenar Hammer Syndrome

Southern Medical Journal, 1981
The hypothenar hammer syndrome is a distinct entity of digital ischemia caused by the repetitive compression of the distal ulnar artery against the hook of the hamate. Definite diagnosis should most likely rely on selective arteriography. Primary resection with anastomosis and cervicodorsal sympathectomy have both been proposed as treatment.

Hypothenar hammer syndrome

Handchirurgie · Mikrochirurgie · Plastische Chirurgie, 2018
IntroductionIn 1934 von Rosen first described a posttraumatic thrombosis of the distal ulnar artery resulting from blunt a trauma to the hypothenar region. But it was Conn in 1970 who named it the “hypothenar hammer syndrome (HHS)” 1–2.

Trap-Assisted DRAM Row Hammer Effect

IEEE Electron Device Letters, 2019
Through 3D TCAD simulations with single charge traps, we discovered a direct evidence to the mechanism of DRAM row hammer effect. It is governed by a charge pumping process, consisting of charge capture and emission under or around an aggressor wordline ...

Thenar-Hammer-Syndrom

Handchirurgie · Mikrochirurgie · Plastische Chirurgie, 2008
Chronic traumatic aneurysm of the distal radial artery is rare. The literature offers only 20 cases of chronic traumatic vascular lesions of the thenar region. We present the case of a 58-year-old cheese maker who had done manual work for years and who experienced swelling at the thenar eminence, pain, cold and warm paresthesia and circulatory ...
