Securing RSA Algorithm Against Side Channel Attacks

open access: yesTelecom
RSA’s modular exponentiation is the basic operation in public key infrastructure and is naturally the target of side-channel attacks. In this work we propose two algorithms that defeat side-channel attacks: Paired Permutation Exponentiation (PPE) and ...

Blood pressure effects of SGLT2 inhibitors and GLP‐1 receptor agonists: Mechanisms, trial evidence and Real‐world data

open access: yesBritish Journal of Clinical Pharmacology, EarlyView.
SGLT2 inhibitors and GLP‐1 receptor agonists modestly lower blood pressure across diverse patient populations, including those without diabetes. These effects appear largely independent of glycaemic control and offer additive value in high‐risk patients with overlapping comorbidities.

Ⅵ-5 Class of Hamming Weight of q-ary Linear Codes with Dimension 5

open access: yes工程科学与技术, 2016
:The method of finite project geometry was used to determine almost all weight hierarchies of the VI-5 subclass weight hierarchies of q-ary linear codes with dimension 5.For the one-to-one correspondence relationship between Hamming weight hierarchy ...

Quantum encoder for fixed-Hamming-weight subspaces

open access: yesPhysical Review Applied
We present an exact $n$-qubit computational-basis amplitude encoder of real- or complex-valued data vectors of $d=\binom{n}{k}$ components into a subspace of fixed Hamming weight $k$. This represents a polynomial space compression of degree $k$.

Impact of empiric potassium supplementation on mortality, sudden cardiac arrest and stroke in furosemide initiators

open access: yesBritish Journal of Clinical Pharmacology, EarlyView.
Aim A prior non‐randomized study suggests that potassium supplementation may improve survival among furosemide initiators, and a randomized trial suggests that salt substitutes containing potassium might lower stroke risk. We conducted a retrospective cohort study using health‐care data to confirm or refute these associations among new users of ...

Evaluation of Sustainable Potential Bearing Capacity of Tourism Environment Under Uncertainty: A Multiphase Intuitionistic Fuzzy EDAS Technique Based on Hamming Distance and Logarithmic Distance Measures

open access: yesIEEE Access
The proposal of the “dual carbon” goal is a deep reflection of the inherent requirements for achieving sustainable development, and has become an important constraint and policy direction for the development of all industries and sectors ...

Nicotinamide Reverses the Warburg Effect in CHO Cell Culture

open access: yesBiotechnology and Bioengineering, EarlyView.
Abstract The Warburg effect, the preferential conversion of glucose‐derived pyruvat to lactate despite available oxygen, is a key feature of Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cell culture. Lactate accumulation in recombinant protein‐producing cell culture is an inefficient usage of glucose, as well as being deleterious to cells.

New opportunities for bioscaffold‐enabled spinal cord injury repair

open access: yesBMEMat, EarlyView.
Schematic illustration of bioscaffolds for spinal cord injury repair. We summarize the effects of bioscaffold properties on SCI repair, highlight different types of bioscaffolds, various fabrication strategies, and in vivo transformations for the clinical development of SCI‐repairing bioscaffolds.
