Establishment and evaluation of a novel rat model of the fourth ventricle hemorrhage

In this study, a novel rat model of fourth ventricle hemorrhage was established via autologous blood injection through the foramen of Magendie. Anesthetized rats were positioned in a stereotaxic apparatus with their heads tilted downward at an angle of approximately 20° relative to the vertical axis.

Comparative Antimicrobial Properties of Sodium Borate and Carbonate and their Perborate and Percarbonate Counterparts

Novel oxygen and hydrogen peroxide‐releasing polymeric films for the treatment of wounds with insufficient blood supply (ischemia) are developed. These films sped up healing in ischemic rat wounds and reduced bacterial growth and biofilm formation.

Antibiotic Sensitivity of Vibrio spp. and Shewanella algae Isolated From Brood and Egg of Mud Crab Hatchery

Vibrio alginolyticus NBRC 15630, Vibrio parahaemolyticus ATCC 17802, Shewanella algae DW01, and Shewanella algae ATCC 51192 bacterial strains were found in the Mud crab brood and egg samples. All isolates were found to be sensitive to cefotaxime, chloramphenicol, gentamicin, and nitrofurantoin antibiotics.
