Hankel determinant solution for elliptic sequence

open access: yesLinear Algebra and its Applications, 2015
We show that the Hankel determinants of a generalized Catalan sequence satisfy the equations of the elliptic sequence. As a consequence, the coordinates of the multiples of an arbitrary point on the elliptic curve are expressed by the Hankel determinants.

On moments of the derivative of CUE characteristic polynomials and the Riemann zeta function

open access: yesJournal of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 113, Issue 3, March 2026.
Abstract We study the derivative of the characteristic polynomial of N×N$N \times N$ Haar‐distributed unitary matrices. We obtain new explicit formulae for complex‐valued moments when the spectral variable is inside the unit disc, in the limit N→∞$N \rightarrow \infty$.

Sharp Second-Order Hankel Determinants Bounds for Alpha-Convex Functions Connected with Modified Sigmoid Functions

open access: yesAxioms
The study of the Hankel determinant generated by the Maclaurin series of holomorphic functions belonging to particular classes of normalized univalent functions is one of the most significant problems in geometric function theory.

Coefficient Inequalities of q-Bi-Univalent Mappings Associated with q-Hyperbolic Tangent Function

open access: yesFractal and Fractional, 2023
The present study introduces a new family of analytic functions by utilizing the q-derivative operator and the q-version of the hyperbolic tangent function.

Multipolar Resonances in Electro‐Optic Metasurfaces with Moderate Refractive Index

open access: yesAdvanced Photonics Research, Volume 7, Issue 2, February 2026.
Electro‐optic nanoantennas with moderate refractive indices of 2.3 to 3.0 are numerically shown to sustain strong multipolar resonances, enabling efficient light confinement and EO tuning. Multipolar modes of even parity are most sensitive to variations in the refractive index.

Hankel Determinants of q-Stirling Numbers

open access: yesThe Electronic Journal of Combinatorics
In this paper, we consider the q-analogue of the Hankel determinants of the Bell numbers and give combinatorial proofs of these results. We show that the Hankel determinants of the q-Stirling numbers can be simplified to a determinant that is almost upper-triangular, and then construct sign-reversing involutions on certain sets of RG-words that

Tunable Skyrmion, Meron, and Skyrmion Bag Textures in Surface Phonon Polariton Lattices

open access: yesNanophotonics, Volume 15, Issue 4, 24 February 2026.
We present surface phonon polariton skyrmions, merons, and skyrmion bags on SiC membranes and study the influence on their topology when tuning the excitation wavelength. We present simulation results on the bubble‐to‐Néel‐type transition of the topological textures in the electric field and spin angular momentum and study singularity‐type electric ...

Tackling High Dimensionality in QSP: Guiding Model Order Reduction With Index Analysis

open access: yesCPT: Pharmacometrics &Systems Pharmacology, Volume 15, Issue 2, February 2026.
ABSTRACT Quantitative systems pharmacology (QSP) models offer a useful platform to integrate drug pharmacology with knowledge about biological mechanisms across multiple scales and data sources into a unified quantitative framework. This makes them invaluable to address many relevant questions in drug research and development.

A Subgrid‐Scale Parameterization of Wave‐Structure Interactions for Spectral Wave Models: Idealized Simulations in Offshore Wind Farm Conditions

open access: yesJournal of Advances in Modeling Earth Systems, Volume 18, Issue 2, February 2026.
Abstract Extensive offshore renewable energy installations have raised concerns about their environmental impacts. These concerns highlight the need for high fidelity modeling of conditions within wind‐farm regions, where wave–structure interactions through reflection, diffraction, and dissipation reshape local and regional wave dynamics, thereby ...
