ABSTRACT We develop a unified mathematical framework extending classical moment theory from discrete integer orders to a continuous spectrum of real orders f>0$$ f>0 $$, providing a systematic statistical characterization of complex systems exhibiting power‐law behavior.

Almost Product Evaluation of Hankel Determinants [PDF]
An extensive literature exists describing various techniques for the evaluation of Hankel determinants. The prevailing methods such as Dodgson condensation, continued fraction expansion, LU decomposition, all produce product formulas when they are ...

Frequency‐dependent contraction rates for the Bayesian method to the inverse source problem
Abstract This paper addresses an inverse source problem for acoustic waves in a range of frequencies. Our study has two main goals. First, although the problem is severely ill‐posed with a logarithmic stability estimate, we demonstrate, through careful analysis of the forward map's singular values, that increasing the frequency range enhances stability,

COEFFICIENT INEQUALITY FOR MULTIVALENT BOUNDED TURNING FUNCTIONS OF ORDER α
The objective of this paper is to obtain the sharp upper bound to the H_2(p + 1), second Hankel determinant for p-valent (multivalent) analytic bounded turning functions (also called functions whose derivatives have positive real parts) of order α (0 ≤ α

The Hankel Determinants from a Singularly Perturbed Jacobi Weight
We study the Hankel determinant generated by a singularly perturbed Jacobi weight w(x,s):=(1−x)α(1+x)βe−s1−x,x∈[−1,1],α>0,β>0s≥0. If s=0, it is reduced to the classical Jacobi weight.

Bounds of Hankel Determinant for a Class of Univalent Functions
Summary: We study coefficient conditions for the class \(\mathfrak H_\alpha\) defined as the set of all analytic functions \(f\) with \(f(0) = 0\) and \(f'(0) = 1\) which satisfy \[ \mathrm{Re}\left\{(1 - \alpha)f'(z) + \alpha\left(1 +\frac{zf''(z)}{f'(z)}\right)\right\} > \alpha \] for all \(z\) in the open unit disk, where \(\alpha\) is a real number.

ABSTRACT Purpose To develop a slice‐wise blurring‐free and densely sampled TE‐resolved multiple‐TE (mTE) ASL sequence (TASL) for measuring blood–brain barrier (BBB) water exchange time. Methods A 3D TSE spiral‐readout pCASL sequence was modified to enable TE‐resolved acquisition.

Hankel determinant solution for elliptic sequence
We show that the Hankel determinants of a generalized Catalan sequence satisfy the equations of the elliptic sequence. As a consequence, the coordinates of the multiples of an arbitrary point on the elliptic curve are expressed by the Hankel determinants.

Hankel Determinants, Padé Approximations, and Irrationality Exponents [PDF]
The irrationality exponent of an irrational number $ξ$, which measures the approximation rate of $ξ$ by rationals, is in general extremely difficult to compute explicitly, unless we know the continued fraction expansion of $ξ$. Results obtained so far are rather fragmentary, and often treated case by case.

ABSTRACT Purpose This study investigates the effect of VAPOR water suppression and metabolite cycling on metabolite quantification and macromolecules in proton magnetic resonance spectroscopy. Methods Single‐voxel semi‐LASER spectra (TR/TE = 3000/28 ms) and metabolite‐nulled spectra (macromolecules) were acquired in five healthy subjects in the ...
