Angew Chem Int Ed EnglWe report a photoenzymatic hydroalkylation that enables streamlined, stereocontrolled access to aryl glutarimide precursors relevant to targeted protein degradation. Engineered flavin‐dependent “ene”‐reductases provide broad scope and high enantioselectivity through a distinct electron transfer–enantioselective proton transfer pathway.

This article reports the case of an 18‐year‐old native Indian woman with cystic fibrosis who was experiencing pain related to pancreatitis, complicated by pancreatic duct stricture and lithiasis.
