Summary The toponym Hara(n) is known from a number of Neo-Elamite tablets, most notably Elamite letter Nin 13. Since this tablet was found in the Assyrian capital Nineveh, it stands to reason that this place name could also be mentioned in contemporary (as well as earlier) Neo-Assyrian and Neo-Babylonian sources.
