The effect of two remineralizing agents and natural saliva on bleached enamel hardness

open access: yesDental Research Journal, 2016
Background: In order to compensate the adverse consequences of bleaching agents, the use of fluoride-containing remineralizing agents has been suggested by many researchers.

A Novel Low-Density, High-Hardness, High-entropy Alloy with Close-packed Single-phase Nanocrystalline Structures

open access: yes, 2015
A low-density, nanocrystalline high-entropy alloy, Al20Li20Mg10Sc20Ti30 was produced by mechanical alloying. It formed a single-phase fcc structure during ball milling and transformed to single-phase hcp upon annealing.

Tight Hardness for Shortest Cycles and Paths in Sparse Graphs [PDF]

open access: yesACM-SIAM Symposium on Discrete Algorithms, 2017
Fine-grained reductions have established equivalences between many core problems with $\tilde{O}(n^3)$-time algorithms on $n$-node weighted graphs, such as Shortest Cycle, All-Pairs Shortest Paths (APSP), Radius, Replacement Paths, Second Shortest Paths,

Co‐overexpression of the caloric restriction‐induced mitochondrial factors PGC‐1α and MIPEP upregulates Phospho1 expression in adipocytes

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Caloric restriction that extends lifespan induces the expression of PGC‐1α and MIPEP in white adipose tissue. In this study, co‐overexpression of Pgc‐1α and Mipep upregulated the gene expression of PHOSPHO1. These findings provide new insights into mitochondria‐related mechanisms underlying the effects of caloric restriction in adipocytes.

The Influence of Deformation and Austenitization Temperature on the Kinetics of Phase Transformations During Cooling of High-Carbon Steel [PDF]

open access: yesArchives of Metallurgy and Materials, 2018
The aim of the performed experiments was to determine the influence of deformation and of austenitization temperature on the kinetics of phase transformations during cooling of high-carbon steel (0.728 wt. % C).

Characterization of ribosome heterogeneity during endothelial to hematopoietic transition

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
The panorama of ribosome heterogeneity during embryonic hematopoiesis has not yet been portrayed. In this study, utilizing dual‐omics data, the heterogenous dynamic of ribosome during endothelial‐to‐hematopoietic transition has been systemically described. Moreover, stage‐specific upregulation and peripheral localization of RPL27 and RACK1 in hemogenic

Classical hardness of learning with errors [PDF]

open access: yesSymposium on the Theory of Computing, 2013
We show that the Learning with Errors (LWE) problem is classically at least as hard as standard worst-case lattice problems. Previously this was only known under quantum reductions.

Risk analysis of the Unity 1.5T MR‐Linac adapt‐to‐shape workflow

open access: yesJournal of Applied Clinical Medical Physics, Volume 26, Issue 7, July 2025.
Abstract Background and Purpose The adapt‐to‐shape (ATS) workflow on the Unity MR‐Linac (Elekta AB, Stockholm, Sweden) allows for full replanning including recontouring and reoptimization5. Additional complexity to this workflow is added when the adaptation involves the use of MIM Maestro (MIM Software, Cleveland, OH) software in conjunction with ...

The Effect of Heat Treatment on Mechanical Properties of Cu-0.93 mass%Ni-0.24 mass%P Alloy [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
Cu-Ni-P alloys are the typical precipitation-hardening material. Thus, Cu-Ni-P alloys are expected to apply alternative materials for heat-exchanger tubes.
