Setting occupational exposure limit values for harmful chemicals
The occupational exposure limit (OEL) value represents the limit of the time-weighted average of the concentration of a substance in the air to which a worker can be exposed over a specified period without experiencing any harmful consequences. OELs could be set at the European Union (EU) or at a national/international level.
