Composites of Shellac and Silver Nanowires as Flexible, Biobased, and Corrosion‐Resistant Transparent Conductive Electrodes

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Shellac, a centuries‐old natural resin, is reimagined as a green material for flexible electronics. When combined with silver nanowires, shellac films deliver transparency, conductivity, and stability against humidity. These results position shellac as a sustainable alternative to synthetic polymers for transparent conductors in next‐generation ...

STUDY OF AIR POLLUTION WITH COMBUSTION PRODUCTS OF GAS STOVES IN GAS-SUPPLIED APARTMENTS

open access: yesArchitecture and Engineering, 2018
As opposed to other fuel combustion appliances, in case of gas stoves, combustion products are released directly into the apartment air. Some people actually spend much time in such environment.

CONSEQUENCES OF USE OF HARMFUL SUBSTANCES DURING PREGNANCY [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
Izhodišča: V času nosečnosti vse, kar vstopi v telo matere, vpliva tudi na plod in njegov razvoj. Preko placente v nosečnosti ter preko materinega mleka med dojenjem prehajajo z matere na otroka tudi škodljive substance.

Modeling the spread of harmful substances in the atmosphere at a variable velocity profile

open access: yesOpen Engineering, 2016
This study developed a mathematical model for the dispersion and transportation of pollutants in the atmosphere. The problem associated with the spread of monodisperse passive tracer from an instantaneous point source in the atmosphere assuming a partial

Steering Oxygen Activation Pathways via Redox Dual‐Defects in 2D Hydrated WO3 for High‐Yield Singlet Oxygen Evolution

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Redox dual‐defects (Cs substitution and O vacancies) in 2D hydrated WO3 steer O2 activation toward selective singlet oxygen evolution. WO‐CO achieves 8.6–15.8 times higher 1O2 production than single‐defect or pristine catalysts, enabling efficient pollutant mineralization via a pathway‐selective photocatalytic mechanism.

ENVIRONMENTAL POLLUTION - ROUTES OF INTAKE HARMFUL SUBSTANCES [PDF]

open access: yes, 2022
Veliki broj onečišćujućih tvari koje se mogu naći u okolišu ubrajamo u opasne tvari, a u okoliš mogu doći iz prirodnih izvora, ali najvećim dijelom u okoliš dospijevaju ljudskom djelatnošću.

Sustainable Electrochemical Synthesis of High‐Quality MXenes: Mechanistic Insights, Applications, Challenges, and Technological Prospects

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Electrochemical etching provides an eco‐friendly alternative to hazardous HF methods for MXene production. This approach facilitates the selective isolation of the A‐layer from MAX phases with tunable surface terminations. Controlling voltage, electrolytes, temperature, and duration enables the optimal structural integrity. Nevertheless, existing scale

Immunoinflammatory Mechanisms and Biocompatibility of Bioactive Dental Biomaterials: From Fundamental Insights to Clinical Translation

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Surface‐host dialogue at the implant interface governs biological fate and osseointegration. Surface physicochemical properties of titanium (Ti) dental implants, including microgrooves, nanopatterns, nanotopography, roughness, and wettability, modulate the initial adsorption of proteins and the formation of a dynamic biointerface.
