Regularity and irregularity of harmonic maps into manifolds
reservedWe introduce the definition of minimizing, stationary and weakly harmonic maps. We prove the monotonicity formula and we give some examples of harmonic maps. Then we state the epsilon-regularity theorem for energy minimizing harmonic maps, due to

If P is a finite poset with maximal elements \(X_ N\), then for certain posets it is possible to decompose \(L^ 2(X_ N)=\oplus^{N}_{n=0}Harm(n)| X_ N\), where \(L^ 2(X_ N)\) is the set of complex valued functions defined on \(X_ N\) acted on by the automorphism group G of P via the permutation representation induced from the stabilizer H of a fixed ...

Value of MRI Outcomes for Preventive and Early‐Stage Trials in Spinocerebellar Ataxias 1 and 3
ABSTRACT Objective To examine the value of MRI outcomes as endpoints for preventive and early‐stage trials of two polyglutamine spinocerebellar ataxias (SCAs). Methods A cohort of 100 participants (23 SCA1, 63 SCA3, median Scale for the Assessment and Rating of Ataxia (SARA) score = 5, 42% preataxic, and 14 gene‐negative controls) was scanned at 3T up ...

Some properties of harmonic mappings [PDF]
A harmonic map between Riemannian manifolds satisfies, in local coordinates, a second order semi-linear elliptic system of equations. This system of equations arise as the Euler-Lagrange equations of a natural Dirichlet or energy integral on maps between

Identifying harmonic attributes from online partial discharge data
Partial discharge (PD) monitoring is a key method of tracking fault progression and degradation of insulation systems. Recent research discovered that the harmonic regime experienced by the plant also affects the PD pattern, questioning the conclusions ...

This paper describes a method of calculating the transforms, currently obtained via Fourier and reverse Fourier transforms. The method allows calculating efficiently the transforms of a signal having an arbitrary dimension of the digital representation by reducing the transform to a vector-to-circulant matrix multiplying.

Multidimensional Profiling of MRI‐Negative Temporal Lobe Epilepsy Uncovers Distinct Phenotypes
ABSTRACT Objective Although hippocampal sclerosis (TLE‐HS) represents the most frequent cause of temporal lobe epilepsy (TLE), up to 30% of patients show no lesion on visual MRI inspection (TLE‐MRIneg). These cases pose diagnostic and therapeutic challenges and are underrepresented in surgical series.

Epigenetic reprogramming in hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells (HSPCs) and downstream myeloid cells, mediated by H3.3 downregulation and endogenous retroelement (ERE) overexpression, contributes to the progression of multiple sclerosis (MS). ABSTRACT Background Skewed myelopoiesis in the bone marrow has been identified as a key driver of multiple ...

Design of the RLC Filter in Cascaded Inverter System
The cascaded inverter is widely used in high-voltage large-capacity system because of the sine output and low cost. However, in some special conditions, the harmonics component of output voltage will intensify heating of the reactor and motor windings ...
