The THz drive of the Mott insulating state of a rare‐earth nickelate induces instantaneous insulator‐metal transition via quantum tunneling of valence electrons across the bandgap. This transition is pure electronic and highly non‐thermal, which may find its applications in ultrafast opto‐electronics with enhanced performance and minimal device size ...

Polynomials Related to Harmonic Numbers and Evaluation of Harmonic Number Series II [PDF]
In this paper we focus on r-geometric polynomials, r-exponential polynomials and their harmonic versions. It is shown that harmonic versions of these polynomials and their generalizations are useful to obtain closed forms of some series related to harmonic numbers.

1. Suppose that the functions x=x(a, 3), y=y(a, f) define a oneto-one harmonic mapping of the unit disc P in the a, p3-plane (a+i3 ==y) onto a convex domain C in the x, y-plane (x+iy=z). The origin is assumed to be fixed. Introducing two functions F(y) and G(y) which, in r, depend analytically upon the variable y we may write z = Re F(,y) +i Re G(y ...

The orbital‐current‐induced torque is investigated as an efficient method for controlling magnetization direction. By introducing Ti as an orbital current source in Ti/Ta (or Pt)/CoFeB/MgO structures, the switching current is reduced by ∼25% compared to a conventional spin‐orbit torque structure of Ta/CoFeB/MgO.

Vibration metrics for informational support in assessing the technical condition of ball mills
The technical condition of ball mills, employed in the fine grinding of minerals, ores, coal, cement clinker, and other materials, is dictated by both the operational load and the actual physical state of the equipment.

Construction of subclasses of univalent harmonic mappings [PDF]
Complex-valued harmonic functions that are univalent and sense-preserving in the open unit disk are widely studied. A new methodology is employed to construct subclasses of univalent harmonic mappings from a given subfamily of univalent analytic functions. The notion of harmonic Alexander integral operator is introduced.
