Low‐Loss Far‐Infrared Surface Phonon Polaritons in Suspended SrTiO3 Nanomembranes
The low‐loss, highly confined, and thickness‐tunable surface phonon polaritons are demonstrated in the far‐infrared regime within transferable freestanding SrTiO3 membranes, achieving high figures of merit comparable to the previous record values from the vdW materials.

Lengths, areas and Lipschitz-type spaces of planar harmonic mappings [PDF]
In this paper, we establish a three circles type theorem, involving the harmonic area function, for harmonic mappings. Also, we give bounds for length and area distortion for harmonic quasiconformal mappings. Finally, we will study certain Lipschitz-type spaces on harmonic mappings.

Harmonization of the law, in Europe and elsewhere, can be a theory driven process in which law and economics research (J.E.L. code K) can play an important role. With the example of a recent German case, the Waterpenny case, and an established piece of legislation, the Civil Code, it is shown how economic reasoning can enter into the process of ...

From a database of 170 pentagonal 2D materials, 4 candidates exhibiting altermagnetic ordering are screened. Furthermore, the spin‐splitting and unconventional boundary states in the pentagonal 2D altermagnetic monolayer MnS2 are investigated. A MnS2‐based altermagnetic tunneling junction is designed and, through ab initio quantum transport simulations,

Harmonic vector fields on pseudo-Riemannian manifolds [PDF]
The theory of harmonic vector fields on Riemannian manifolds is generalised to pseudo-Riemannian manifolds. Harmonic conformal gradient fields on pseudo-Euclidean hyperquadrics are classified up to congruence, as are harmonic Killing fields on pseudo-Riemannian quadrics.

AbstractLet Ω be a non-empty open subset of Rd, where d⩾2. A modern theorem on harmonic approximation is used to show that there exists a harmonic function h on Ω behaving wildly near every boundary point of Ω. The function h is analogous to the holomorphic monster functions of W. Luh.

Electric control of magnetic tunnel junctions offers a path to drastically reduce the energy requirements of the device. Electric field control of magnetization can be realized in a multitude of ways. These mechanisms can be integrated into existing spintronic devices to further reduce the operational energy.
