A Study on Hysteresis Stiffness Model and Parameter Identification of Harmonic Gear Transmission based on Genetic Characteristic

open access: yesJixie chuandong, 2022
Hysteresis stiffness is an inherent property of harmonic gear drive. In the traditional dynamic modeling of harmonic gear drive, the stiffness is considered as fixed stiffness or piecewise fixed stiffness, which will lead to reduction of the accuracy of ...

Harmonic and rational harmonic driving of microresonator soliton frequency combs

open access: yesOptica, 2020
With demonstrated applications ranging from metrology to telecommunications, soliton microresonator frequency combs have emerged over the past decade as a remarkable new technology. However, standard implementations allow only for the generation of combs whose repetition rate is tied closely to the fundamental resonator free ...

A 2GHz GaN Class-J power amplifier for base station applications [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
The design and implementation of a high efficiency Class-J power amplifier (PA) for base station applications is reported. A commercially available 10 W GaN HEMT device was used, for which a large-signal model and an extrinsic parasitic model were ...

Inductive measurements of third-harmonic voltage and critical current density in bulk superconductors

open access: yes, 2003
We propose an inductive method to measure critical current density $J_c$ in bulk superconductors. In this method, an ac magnetic field is generated by a drive current $I_0$ flowing in a small coil mounted just above the flat surface of superconductors ...

Enhanced Torque Control of a PMSM Supplied by a Four-Leg Voltage Source Inverter Using the Third Harmonic [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
This paper investigates an electrical drive composed of a four-leg voltage source inverter and a three-phase starconnected surface permanent magnet synchronous machine with concentrated windings. The inverter fourth leg is clamped to the neutral point of

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

Infrared laser sampling of low volumes combined with shotgun lipidomics reveals lipid markers in palatine tonsil carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.

Influence of Tooth Profile Parameter of Double-circle-arc Flexspline on Conjugate Characteristic of Harmonic Gear Drive

open access: yesJixie chuandong, 2020
In the process of harmonic drive(HD),the double-circular-arc tooth profile(DCTP) can effectively avoid cusp meshing. In order to further optimize the double arc profile and improve the performance of the HD,based on the modified kinematic method exact ...

Non-harmonic response of relativistic particle to driving harmonic force

open access: yesRevista Brasileira de Ensino de Física, 2023
We consider the properties of one-dimensional oscillations of a relativistic particle under a driving harmonic force. It is found that in the general case the speed oscillations are an infinite sum of odd sinusoidal and even cosinusoidal waves. In the limiting case of the ultra-relativistic particle, they represent a square wave.
