Influence of design parameters on the field current of the tooth harmonic excitation system
This study proposes a brushless hybrid excitation permanent magnet synchronous generator (HEPMSG) with rotor tooth harmonic winding. The rotor tooth harmonic electromotive force (EMF), induced by the inherent tooth harmonic magnetic field in the air gap, will provide the field current for the rotor field winding after the rectification.

Contributions to Elimination of Excitation Field Harmonics in Turbogenerators
Turbogenerators driven by high-speed turbines are frequently used in electrical power generation. Power quality of a synchronous generator is directly associated with its excitation field harmonics. Conventional method to eliminate the most prominent harmonics is to distribute the slots to 2/3 of the rotor perimeter with equal slot pitches and ...

NONLINEAR FIELD RESPONSE OF PILES UNDER HORIZONTAL HARMONIC EXCITATIONS
Harmonic excitation of pile foundation is a typical dynamic phenomenon occur during machine vibration. In many cases, it has been found that the horizontal excitations are the critical ones which governs the design for machine-based pile foundations. In order to comprehend the horizontal frequency-amplitude responses of pile foundation under various ...

An harmonic equivalent excitation method for random vibration response
Many loads on engineering structures had obvious randomness, such as earthquakes, wind, sea waves, uneven pavement, etc. The calculation and analysis of random vibration were complicated and inefficient, which has perplexed the development of engineering

Nonlinear dynamic responses of an inclined beam to harmonic excitation in temperature field
Abstract Using both analytical and numerical methods, nonlinear dynamic behaviours including chaotic motions and subharmonic bifurcations of an inclined beam subjected to harmonic excitation in temperature field are investigated in this paper. Based on the Galerkin method, the mathematical model of motion is derived.
