Vibrational interference of Raman and high harmonic generation pathways [PDF]
Experiments have shown that the internal vibrational state of a molecule can affect the intensity of high harmonic light generated from that molecule. This paper presents a model which explains this modulation in terms of interference between different vibrational states occurring during the high harmonic process.

High Harmonic Generation Via Continuum Wave-Packet Interference [PDF]
High-order harmonic generation (HHG) is investigated theoretically in the over-the-barrier ionization (OBI) regime revealing the strong signature of interference between two separately ionized and separately propagating free wave packets of a single electron.

Boost power factor correction converter with adaptive harmonic compensation control
In low‐voltage distribution systems, the increased penetration of power electronic devices leads to the decentralization of harmonic sources, which puts the sensitive loads or communication systems in the risk status. The conventional methods of point‐to‐

Analysis on noise interference of FHD proton magnetometer at Wen’an seismic station
The FHD-2B proton magnetometer at Wen’an station had large F component noise from 2020 to 2021. There is a high correlation between noise interference and temperature, which is generally characterized by high noise in winter and low noise in summer.

Interference between Competing Pathways in Atomic Harmonic Generation [PDF]
We investigate the influence of the autoionizing 3s3p(6)nℓ resonances on the fifth harmonic generated by 200-240 nm laser fields interacting with Ar. To determine the influence of a multielectron response we develop the capability within time-dependent R-matrix theory to determine the harmonic spectra generated.

A Two-stage approach to harmonic rejection mixing using blind interference cancelling [PDF]
Current analog harmonic rejection mixers typically provide 30–40 dB of harmonic rejection, which is often not sufficient. We present a mixed analog-digital approach to harmonic rejection mixing that uses a digital interference canceler to reject the ...

Two-center interference and ellipticity in high-order harmonic generation from H$_2^+$ [PDF]
We present a theoretical investigation into the two-center interference in aligned H$_2^+$. The influence of the laser field on the recombination step is investigated by comparing laser-induced harmonic generation with harmonic generation from field-free

Harmonically decoupled gradient light interference microscopy (HD-GLIM)
Differential phase sensitive methods, such as Nomarski microscopy, play an important role in quantitative phase imaging due to their compatibility with partially coherent illumination and excellent optical sectioning ability. In this Letter, we propose a new system, to the best of our knowledge, to retrieve differential phase information from ...
