Microsphere‐Modulated Sensing‐in‐Energy Supercapacitor With Self‐Filtering Ultra‐Large Signal Under High‐g Shocks

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
To overcome severe signal oscillation under extreme impact conditions, this work presents a Sensing‐in‐Energy microdevice which integrates a MEMS inertial structure directly within a supercapacitor electrolyte cavity. Utilizing shock‐driven transient contact and electrolyte damping for signal self‐filtering, it achieves weak‐oscillation, large ...

Harmonic Interference From Distribution Systems

IEEE Transactions on Power Apparatus and Systems / Technical Operations Committee, 1982
The paper presents the techniques and measures used by Calgary Power Ltd. to mitigate inductive interference problems into communiation circuits. Investigation of several cases of triple harmonic-noise problems indicated a new role of triple harmonies, generated by distribution transformers, in the interference mechanism.

ECG interference suppressed using a harmonic generator

Australasian Physics & Engineering Sciences in Medicine, 2009
Non-linear loading of the utilities supply introduced significant electromagnetic field (EMF) interference severe enough to disrupt electrocardiograph (ECG) monitoring and recordings in the new Emergency Department (ED) at the Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH).
