Improvements of bounds for the Sándor–Yang means
In the article, we provide new bounds for two Sándor–Yang means in terms of the arithmetic and contraharmonic means. Our results are the improvements of the previously known results.

Operator inequalities among arithmetic mean, geometric mean and harmonic mean [PDF]
We give an upper bound for the weighted geometric mean using the weighted arithmetic mean and the weighted harmonic mean. We also give a lower bound for the weighted geometric mean. These inequalities are proven for two invertible positive operators.

Whole‐Body Pattern of Muscle Degeneration and Progression in Sarcoglycanopathies
ABSTRACT Objective To characterize whole‐body intramuscular fat distribution pattern in patients with sarcoglycanopathies and explore correlations with disease severity, duration and age at onset. Methods Retrospective, cross‐sectional, multicentric study enrolling patients with variants in one of the four sarcoglycan genes who underwent whole‐body ...

Some Remarks on Harmonic Functions in Minkowski Spaces
We prove that in Minkowski spaces, a harmonic function does not necessarily satisfy the mean value formula. Conversely, we also show that a function satisfying the mean value formula is not necessarily a harmonic function.

Estimators Proposed by Geometric Mean, Harmonic Mean and Quadratic Mean [PDF]
In the studies in literature up to date arithmetic population mean of auxiliary variable is used to obtain the proportional estimators. In this paper geometric mean, harmonic mean and quadratic mean is used as well as arithmetic population mean. Using geometric mean, harmonic mean and quadratic mean do not affect the variance of ratio estimator ...

Clustering Algorithm Reveals Dopamine‐Motor Mismatch in Cognitively Preserved Parkinson's Disease
ABSTRACT Objective To explore the relationship between dopaminergic denervation and motor impairment in two de novo Parkinson's disease (PD) cohorts. Methods n = 249 PD patients from Parkinson's Progression Markers Initiative (PPMI) and n = 84 from an external clinical cohort.

Impact of Asymptomatic Intracranial Hemorrhage on Outcome After Endovascular Stroke Treatment
ABSTRACT Background Endovascular treatment (EVT) achieves high rates of recanalization in acute large‐vessel occlusion (LVO) stroke, but functional recovery remains heterogeneous. While symptomatic intracranial hemorrhage (sICH) has been well studied, the prognostic impact of asymptomatic intracranial hemorrhage (aICH) after EVT is less certain ...

Harmonic means and diophantus I.39
In a recent publication, J. Christianidis has pointed to a scholium to Iamblichus's book on Nicomachus which mentions ``the final theorem of the first book of Diophantus's presentation of the elements of arithmetic'' as a place where more can be learnt about harmonic means. Since the last theorem of Arithmetic I (No.
