On the Range of Arithmetic Means of the Fractional Parts of Harmonic Numbers
In this paper, the limit points of the sequence of arithmetic means 1n∑m=1n{Hm}σ for n=1,2,3,… are studied, where Hm is the mth harmonic number with fractional part {Hm} and σ is a fixed positive constant.

q-Generalizations of a family of harmonic number identities [PDF]
Paule and Schneider (2003) [3], and Chu (Chu and Donno) (2005) [1] gave a family of wonderful harmonic number identities. Their generalized versions associated with q-harmonic numbers will be established by applying a derivative operator to Watson's q ...

Binomial Series Involving Harmonic-like Numbers
By computing definite integrals, we shall examine binomial series of convergence rate ±1/2 and weighted by harmonic-like numbers. Several closed formulae in terms of the Riemann and Hurwitz zeta functions as well as logarithm and polylogarithm functions ...

FOURIER COEFFICIENTS FOR THE LIGHT CURVES OF 62 MIRA-TYPE STARS
For 62 Mira-type stars the values of periods have been redetermined; the mean curves have been fitted by a trigonometric polynomial with an optimal number of harmonics; a number of the parameters of the light curve have been calculated (amplitude of ...

Families of skew linear harmonic Euler sums involving some parameters
In this study we investigate a family of skew linear harmonic Euler sums involving some free parameters. Our analysis involves using the properties of the polylogarithm function, commonly referred to as the Bose-Einstein integral.

Twist or theory of immersions of surfaces in four-dimensional spheres and hyperbolic spaces [PDF]
Let f : S → S(^4) be an immersion of a Riemann surface in the 4-sphere. The thesis begins with a study of the adapted moving frame of / in order to produce conditions for certain naturally defined lifts to SO(5)/U(2) and S0(5)T(^2) to be conformal ...

Number Theory Problems From The Harmonic Analysis Of A Fractal [PDF]
We study some number theory problems related to the harmonic analysis (Fourier bases) of the Cantor set introduced by Jorgensen and Pedersen in [JP98]

Harmonic Number Sums in Higher Powers [PDF]
Euler has supplied us with many wonderful identities on harmonic number sums, now called Euler sums. Borwein and other authors have extended the number of identities in the class of sums of Euler type.
