A method of reducing harmonic contents for SPWM
Proceedings of the IEEE 1999 International Conference on Power Electronics and Drive Systems. PEDS'99 (Cat. No.99TH8475), 1999Fully digital AC drives are becoming an industrial standard. While the traditional PWM AC motor drivers use sinusoidal reference waveforms with different optimum modulation strategies, at the present time for high performances drives, the space vector pulse modulation is used.

Completely reducible factors of harmonic polynomials of three variables
Matematicheskie trudy, 2021Summary: We describe the divisors of complex valued homogeneous harmonic polynomials on \(\mathbb{R}^3\) which are products of linear forms and characterize the homogeneous polynomials \(p\) that admit a couple of linear forms \(\ell_1\) and \(\ell_2\) such that \(\ell_1^mp\) and \(\ell_2^mp\) are harmonic for some \(m\in\mathbb{N}\).

Optimal modulation to reduce harmonics in inverters
2015 International Conference on Advanced Technologies for Communications (ATC), 2015Nowadays, there is a rapid development of devices of uninterruptible power supply (UPS) in communications. Inverter is one of the important parts in the UPS and its producing of current harmonics negatively affects the operation quality of communication devices. Therefore, reduction of current harmonics in the UPSs to achieve the stringent standards is

Stepped-Waveform Synthesis for Reducing Third Harmonic Content
IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement, 2005Third harmonic measurements are used to assess the nonlinearity level of resistors, as recommended by the IEC/TR 60440 standard. Availability of a signal generator with extremely small (zero in limiting case) content of the third harmonic plays a key role in getting successful linearity measurements.

Reduced contribution of a nonsimultaneous mistuned harmonic to residue pitch
The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 2005Ciocca and Darwin [V. Ciocca and C. J. Darwin, J. Acoust. Soc. Am. 105, 2421–2430 (1999)] reported that the shift in residue pitch caused by mistuning a single harmonic (the fourth out of the first 12) was the same when the mistuned harmonic was presented after the remainder of the complex as when it was simultaneous, even though subjects were asked to
