Intensity self-pulsations in (GaAl)As injection lasers operating in an external cavity [PDF]
We present an experimental and theoretical study of a self-pulsing (GaAl)As injection laser operating in an external cavity. We have observed suppression of the self-pulsations when the external cavity is in the range 6 < L < 10 cm. Suppression of self-

SIW‐based interdigital bandpass filter with harmonic suppression [PDF]
ABSTRACTA novel configuration of interdigital bandpass filter based on the substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) technology is proposed. In addition to the interdigital resonators in SIW that determine the main response/characteristics of the filter, narrowing the width of the SIW at the center of the filter and additional vias at its input and output ...

Contact Lens with Moiré Patterns for High‐Precision Eye Tracking
This work presents a passive contact lens for high‐precision eye tracking, integrating a microscopic moiré grating label. The parallax‐induced shift of macroscopic moiré patterns enables angle measurement with 0.28° precision using a standard camera under ambient light.

Role of Histidine‐Containing Peptoids in Accelerating the Kinetics of Calcite Growth
Amphiphilic histidine‐containing peptoids mimic carbonic anhydrase (CA) to accelerate calcite step growth. In the presence of Zn2+, they promote the deprotonation of HCO3−, the desolvation of Ca2+, and the reorganization of interfacial hydration layers, thereby reducing the activation barrier for calcite growth.

A Wideband Filtering Antenna Array With Harmonic Suppression
In this work, a wideband 2×2 filtering antenna array is proposed and studied for fixed beam applications. The device is composed of a patch antenna array and a slotline-based four-way filtering power divider served as the feeding network. The integration of the antenna and the feeding parts is not a simple combination but a co-synthesis, where the ...
