Hybrid Harmony Search Algorithms

International Journal on Artificial Intelligence Tools, 2015
Harmony search algorithm (HSA) is a music-inspired population-based meta-heuristic search and optimization algorithm. In order to improve exploration or global search ability, exploit local search more effectively, increase convergence speed, improve solution quality, and minimize computational cost, researchers have advanced the concept of hybridizing

A random distribution harmony search algorithm

2018 Tenth International Conference on Advanced Computational Intelligence (ICACI), 2018
Harmony Search (HS) algorithm is widely applied in high-dimensional complex optimization problems. However, there are several drawbacks with HS algorithm for which HS algorithm is unable to find global optimum solution efficiently and effectively sometimes.

A Discrete Harmony Search Algorithm

2010
Harmony search (HS), inspired by the music improvisation process, is a new meta-heuristic optimization method and has been used to tackle various optimization problems in discrete and continuous space successfully. However, the standard HS algorithm is not suitable for settling discrete binary problems.

An improved adaptive harmony search algorithm

Proceedings of the 10th World Congress on Intelligent Control and Automation, 2012
This paper is concerned with the global adaptive harmony search (GAHS) algorithms for solving optimization problems. GAHS employs global information to the adaptive harmony search algorithm. The proposed GAHS algorithm is tested numerically and contrasted with improved harmony search (AHS) algorithm, and particle swarm optimization (PSO).
