An Improved Algorithm for Harris Corner Detection

2009 2nd International Congress on Image and Signal Processing, 2009
Corner points are formed from two or more edges and edges usually define the boundary between two different objects or parts of the same objects. In this novel we discuss the theory of the Harris corner detection and indicate its disadvantage.

Analysis of Harris corner detection for color images

2016 International Conference on Signal Processing, Communication, Power and Embedded System (SCOPES), 2016
Corner detection algorithm is an algorithm which helps in identifying the corners in an image. Corners are mainly formed by the combination of two or more edges. These corners may or may not define the boundary of an image. Here the method used is Harris corner detection algorithm.

An Improved Corner Detection Algorithm Based on Harris

2018 Chinese Automation Congress (CAC), 2018
Aiming at the problems that the traditional Harris corner detection algorithm could extract more flase corner points and computational complexity when performing corner extraction on the image, an improved Harris corner detection algorithm is proposed.

A High-Speed Parallel FPGA Implementation of Harris Corner Detection

2020 IEEE International Conference on Integrated Circuits, Technologies and Applications (ICTA), 2020
Harris corner detection is a common operation in the field of image processing, but suffering from computation complexity in embedded system. The current method of corner detection is to process one pixel in one clock cycle. With the improvement of image acquisition method in modern society, higher processing speed requirements have been proposed for ...

Accelerating Harris Algorithm with GPU for Corner Detection

2013 Seventh International Conference on Image and Graphics, 2013
Harris algorithm is a corner detection method based on gray scale, which detects corner points by calculating the gradient changes of pixels in horizontal and vertical direction. Due to the usage of Gaussian filtering, Harris algorithm performs well on aspect of robustness, accuracy and stability.

An Adaptive Algorithm for Harris Corner Detection

2009 International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Software Engineering, 2009
Corner points are interesting as they are formed from two or more edges and edges usually define the boundary between two different objects or parts of the same objects. In this paper we discuss the theory of the Harris corner detection and point out its disadvantage.

Detection and measurement of bimalleolar fractures using Harris corner

Proceedings of the International Conference on Advances in Computing, Communications and Informatics, 2012
Medical image processing covers a wide spectrum of activities growing vigorously in the last couple of decades. In this paper a method is proposed to detect ankle fractures with the help of wavelet analysis from the X-ray image of the fractured region.

Corner Detection Algorithm with Improved Harris

2015
Traditional algorithm of Harris needs to select a parameter for computing interest values of pixels, and its recognition ability for some types of corners is poor. To solve this problem, this paper proposes a corner detection method which is based on local standard deviation and logarithmic computing.
