Enhanced Computerized Bone Fracture Detection Using Harris Corner Detection
2020 International Conference on Smart Electronics and Communication (ICOSEC), 2020According to the global statistical report by WHO(World Health Organisation) over 3000 accidents are occurring per day in India. Bone fractures have become very common nowadays due to the increase in accidents. Locating the fractures in a bone is very crucial to treat the patients with bone breakage.

The Depth Image Restoring Based on Harris Corner Detection
Advanced Materials Research, 2013Obtaining the depth image is the foundation of the research on other direction of Kinect. When to obtain the depth image information in a Kinect, it can t obtain the depth image accurately if there is a shelter in front of the body, and then the recognition and the restoration of the skeleton will become very difficult.

An Improved Harris Corner Detection Algorithm for Noised Images
Advanced Materials Research, 2012The Harris corner detection algorithm is widely applied in image mosaic, which is simple and stable. However, the algorithm has a disadvantage that it obtains a lot of false corners when there exist some noise in an image. An improved Harris corner detection algorithm is proposed in this paper. The new algorithm reduces the noise impact greatly.

Resource-Aware Harris Corner Detection Based on Adaptive Pruning
2014Corner-detection techniques are being widely used in computer vision for example in object recognition to find suitable candidate points for feature registration and matching. Most computer-vision applications have to operate on real-time video sequences, hence maintaining a consistent throughput and high accuracy are important constrains that ensure

Object detection and recognition in cluttered scene using Harris Corner Detection
2014 International Conference on Control, Instrumentation, Communication and Computational Technologies (ICCICCT), 2014In this research paper Objects are detected and recognized in cluttered scene. We use Harris Corner Detector to extract interest points, and use additional descriptor FREAK (Fast Retina Keypoint) to match and find detect the object. We also use some classification algorithm to classify and label the object based on the extracted features.

Copy-Move forgery detection based on Harris Corner points and BRISK
Proceedings of the Third International Symposium on Women in Computing and Informatics, 2015Copy-Move Image Forgery is a clean and efficient method to perform digital image forgeries. To localize a forged region, is an important task in detecting such kind of forgeries. This paper proposes a key point based passive image forensic technique to detect and localize forged regions in a manipulated image.

A fingertips detection method based on the combination of centroid and Harris corner algorithm
2016 17th IEEE/ACIS International Conference on Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Networking and Parallel/Distributed Computing (SNPD), 2016Fingertip detection is an important research topic, which contributes to silent communication. To ensure consistent performance under unconstrained environments, we propose a robust and novel method to identify fingertips of hand palm. Briefly, two-dimensional Gaussian probability distribution in YCbCr color space is introduced for segmenting hand ...

Palmprint recognition based on Harris corner detection and statistical offset matching
2017 10th International Congress on Image and Signal Processing, BioMedical Engineering and Informatics (CISP-BMEI), 2017Palmprint deformation, including rotation, displacement, swelling and so on, is a crucial factor for the palmprint recognition performance. The traditional algorithms mainly focus on the feature-based matching and the block-based matching. In this paper, a novel block-based matching palmprint recognition scheme is proposed.

Lowering dynamic power in stream-based harris corner detection architecture
2017 International Conference on Field Programmable Technology (ICFPT), 2017Stream-based image processing architectures are extremely attractive as they can achieve high throughput and do not require external memories for storing input video frames. However, a major challenge in designing stream-based architectures lies in lowering the dynamic power consumption since all the processing elements are typically in continuous ...
