Harvesting Energy from Changes in Relative Humidity Using Nanoscale Water Capillary Bridges
We show that nanoscale water capillary bridges (WCB) formed between patchy surfaces can extract energy from the environment when subjected to changes in relative humidity (RH). Our results are based on molecular dynamics simulations combined with a modified version of the Laplace-Kelvin equation, which is validated using the nanoscale WCB.

MIDDLE MATURING MAIZE HYBRIDS ‘ZERNOGRADSKY 354 MV’ AND ‘GEFEST MV’
A long use of the hybrid in production often results in the loss of immunity to the diseases. Climate change and growing needs of the farmers also demand a consistent improvement of maize hybrids.

Determining appropriate provinces for dew harvesting in Iran [PDF]
The fact that water is the most important factor of life on earth is not a new concept. Alteration and reduction in the amount of precipitation, population explosion and contamination of underground water pressurize governments severely to find solution ...

Progress and Prospects of Air Water Harvesting System for Remote Areas: A Comprehensive Review
Life is dependent on water. However, in terms of the potential effects, water scarcity is quickly emerging as one of the most critical problems in the world. To access more fresh water for drinking, sanitation, and irrigation, water can be harvested from

Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

Cytarabine is a key therapy for acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), but its efficacy is limited by the dNTPase SAMHD1, which hydrolyses its active metabolite. Screening nucleotide biosynthesis inhibitors revealed that IMPDH inhibitors selectively sensitise SAMHD1‐proficient AML cells to cytarabine.
