Computational Study of the Reactions of Interstellar Molecules: CH2 Reacting with HCNO and HNCO [PDF]
Association reactions among small molecules known to exist in the interstellar medium are interesting for theories on the origins of life. A screening of thousands of reactions, using machine learning estimates of energy barriers, identified the reaction

Six exploratory SCRAs with CBM and NBM side chains circumvented the German NpSG 2019–2021 with Cumyl‐CBMICA the most prevalent. Potency and affinity at the CB1 receptor are sensitive to changes in the core (indole << indazole < γ‐carbolinone) and the side chain (CBM << NBM).

Growth and Evolution of Secondary Volcanic Atmospheres: 2. The Importance of Kinetics
Abstract Volcanism is a major and long‐term source of volatile elements such as C and H to Earth's atmosphere, likely has been to Venus's atmosphere, and may be for exoplanets. Models simulating volcanic growth of atmospheres often make one of two assumptions: either that atmospheric speciation is set by the high‐temperature equilibrium of volcanism or

C1N1 Thin Films from Guanine Decomposition Fragments
Guanine decomposition fragments allow preparing homogenous and semi‐transparent C1N1 thin films on top of different substrates in a simplified chemical vapor deposition. The films act as p‐type semiconductors and have good photoresponse to visible light and are suitable catalysts for the hydrogen evolution reaction.

Ca2Nb3O10 nanosheets with different buffer layers promote the growth of high‐quality 4d metallic correlated SrMoO3 and SrNbO3 films on amorphous transparent fused silica substrates. As a result, SrMoO3 and SrNbO3 transparent conductors with high conductivity and high optical transparency in the UV‐Vis spectra are achieved in technologically relevant ...

Electronegativity at the Shock Front
Abstract In this work, a scale for pressure‐adapted atomic electronegativity is used to make general predictions of bond polarity in H‐, C‐, N‐ and O‐based compounds experiencing shock conditions. The qualitative picture that emerges is one of increasing polarity of several bonds common in energetic materials.

The objective of the current study was to evaluate the altitudinal variability in chemical compounds, nematicidal, insecticidal, herbicidal, and antifungal activity of the essential oils of H. coronarium collected from four different habitats of Tarai and Kumaun region of Uttarakhand. Essential oils were hydro‐distilled from rhizomes of H.

The two faces of cyanide: an environmental toxin and a potential novel mammalian gasotransmitter
Role of low‐ and high‐cyanide concentration in mammalian cell function regulation in health and disease. At low (nanomolar to low micromolar) concentrations, cyanide exerts beneficial and regulatory roles. At medium concentrations, the effect of cyanide includes the regulation of NMDA receptors and the modulation of intracellular calcium handling.
