Pixel-wise exposure control for single-shot HDR imaging: A joint optimization approach
Dynamic range is one of the primary limitations that restricts digital image sensors from acquiring more visual information. Current high dynamic range (HDR) imaging techniques entail a trade-off between dynamic range and visual fidelity.

Multi-Layer Decomposition and Synthesis of HDR Images to Improve High-Saturation Boundaries
Recently, high dynamic range (HDR) imaging has been used in many fields such as display, computer graphics, and digital cameras. Various tone mapping operators (TMOs) are used for effective HDR imaging.

CDK11 inhibition stabilises the tumour suppressor p53 and triggers the production of an alternative p21WAF1 splice variant p21L, through the inactivation of the spliceosomal protein SF3B1. Unlike the canonical p21WAF1 protein, p21L is localised in the cytoplasm and has reduced cell cycle‐blocking activity.

Harnessing forward scattering effect for high dynamic imaging
Imaging scenes with a high dynamic range (HDR) of light intensities is critical for applications such as biomedical imaging, astronomical observation, and industrial automation, where accurate detection of both bright and dark regions is essential for ...

Reduced-Dimensional Capture of High-Dynamic Range Images with Compressive Sensing
The range of light illumination in real scenes is very large, and ordinary cameras can only record a small part of this range, which is far lower than the range of human eyes’ perception of light.

Improved image selection for stack-based HDR imaging [PDF]
Stack-based high dynamic range (HDR) imaging is a technique for achieving a larger dynamic range in an image by combining several low dynamic range images acquired at different exposures. Minimizing the set of images to combine, while ensuring that the resulting HDR image fully captures the scene's irradiance, is important to avoid long image ...

Recently, impressive denoising results have been achieved by Bayesian approaches which assume Gaussian models for the image patches. This improvement in performance can be attributed to the use of per-patch models.
