Cardiac 131I-MIBG scintigraphy in patients with multiple system atrophy
Background 131I-metaiodobenzylguanidine (131I-MIBG) can be intaked by cardiac sympathetic postganglionic fibre, thus becomes the imaging agent to evaluate cardiac sympathetic nerve function. The aim of this study is to investigate the autonomic nerve

Background: We have developed novel software for semi-automatically measuring heart-to-mediastinum (H/M) ratio in cardiac Iodine-123 (123I)-labeled meta-iodobenzylguanidine (MIBG) imaging. Our aim is to improve the reproducibility of the H/M ratio using the semi-automated method as opposed to the manual method.
