Catheter Injectable Multifunctional Biomaterial for the Treatment of Infected Enterocutaneous Fistulas

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A multi‐functional shear‐thinning hydrogel is engineered to treat enterocutaneous fistulas. This hydrogel can resist external pressures allowing it to remain within the fistula tract and is shown to have significant antimicrobial, pro‐healing, and anti‐inflammatory properties, which were validated in in vitro and in vivo experiments.

Development of Carbon‐11 Labeled Pyrimidine Derivatives as Novel Positron Emission Tomography (PET) Agents Enabling Brain Sigma‐1 Receptor Imaging

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Novel carbon‐11 labeled pyrimidine derivatives are developed as PET imaging probes for visualizing sigma‐1 receptors in the brain. [11C]CNY‐01 demonstrates superior brain uptake and binding specificity in both rodents and non‐human primates. The study reveals decreased sigma‐1 receptor expression in Alzheimer's disease, offering a promising tool for ...

Tumor Microenvironment Triggered In Situ Coagulation of Supramolecularly Engineered Platelets for Precise Tumor Embolization

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Occlusion of tumor blood vessels represents a promising yet challenging approach in cancer treatment. Herein, supramolecularly engineered platelets conjugated with morphology‐transformable nanoparticles is developed for precise tumor embolization. The engineered platelets actively accumulate at tumor sites following induced blood vessel injury.
